On Sunday 18 November 2018, Kensington South celebrated 70 years of worshipping in this Congregation.

This special divine service was conducted by Bishop A Lutuli. Invited to this celebration were all the former rectors, retired ministers and members who have a part in the history of Kensington South.

As basis for the divine service the Bible word was taken from Revelations 20:6, “Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.”

The Rector, Community Evangelist Theo Pillay was called upon to serve along.

After the divine service, the congregation with the Bishop took a group photo to capture this special day.

As part of this celebration a music programme was enjoyed while the members could enjoy a finger lunch.
