In response to an initiative identified by Apostle HB Swartbooi the rectors of the Arcadia Bishop

Area took to the task with great excitement. On Wednesday 9 August 2017, South Africa celebrated Women’s Day in commemoration of the day 61 years before when approximately 20 000 women marched to the Union Buildings in Pretoria in 1956. The 30 rectors treated their wives to celebrate this occasion to a scrumptious breakfast at the local Wimpy, in the company of the Apostle Swartbooi and Bishop Flores, while fellowships with the same focus happened in congregations. Apostle HB Swartbooi commenced the activity with prayer, thereafter Bishop Flores proceeded to welcome the ministers and their wives.

A guest speaker, Ms Lauren Butler, was invited to deliver a Motivational and Inspirational message, reflecting on the role and strength of women in their home and community.

New friendships were made and old ones rekindled over a steaming cup of coffee with sunny-side-up eggs and crispy bacon. Great fellowship and much laughter were experienced by all. This event created much joy and interaction, listening to the comments from those present. What an occasion this turned out to be!
