Apostle P Lambert visited Muizenberg Congregation on the first Sunday of Advent, 2 December 2018.

The Apostle used the Bible Word out of Isaiah 9:2, “The people who walked in the darkness have seen a great light. Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, upon them a light has shined.”

This day was absolutely festive as the Apostle left the congregation with Godly gifts.  Seven souls were sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit; two priests and four deacons were ordained.

This Divine Service was followed by the Sunday School Service.  There was great excitement amongst the Sunday School children, teachers and those attending, as the Apostle also conducted this service. The Bible Word was out of Romans 12:2, “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

The Confirmation Valedictory followed, which was attended by the Apostle and at the end he gave the confirmands some encouraging words.  The Apostle then closed with a prayer.
