With a festive spirit palpable amongst the brethren, Kalkfontein held their last choir practice for 2017 on Tuesday the 5th of December.

Choir leader, Deacon Lucian Mcnabb, played no small part in fuelling the vibrant atmosphere by choosing festive music pieces to practise. Inevitably, “Silent Night” and various other Christmas Carols had to be sung to end off the last choir practice for the year. Respectively, Lucian and the Rector thanked the members for their valued contribution and sacrifices during the year and wished them well for the festive period. After a motivational message by one of the Rector Helpers and the closing prayer, the brethren could indulge in heart-warming fellowship, while enjoying a food feast that was prepared for them.

All in all, it was a blessed occasion with many of the brethren vocalising their thankfulness for being part of Kalkfontein Congregation and expressed their optimism for 2018.
