On Tuesday 17 October 2017, the Chief Apostle and his entourage enjoyed a short excursion on the Knysna Lagoon.

Tuesday 17 October 2017 will enter the history archives and the hearts of the members and community of Hornlee in Knysna, because for the first time a Chief Apostle set foot in this beautiful coastal town and rural suburb.

“If you have faith like a mustard seed, then Chief Apostle will walk into our congregation.” These were the words of a senior member, sister Sarah Jansen (97) who left Bridgton congregation a few years ago.

Monday morning – the Chief Apostle and those accompanying him were scheduled to leave by air for George.

Sunday morning - The greatly anticipated moment finally arrived. After weeks of intense preparations and watching the hours, minutes, and seconds run down on the countdown clock on the NAC - SA website, Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider stepped behind the altar of the Claremont congregation at 09h00 on Sunday the 15th of October 2017.

Saturday afternoon - What a blessed preparation for tomorrow morning's divine service, which Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider will conduct at Claremont congregation.

Saturday morning - shortly after breakfast the apostles gathered in a room at the hotel where they could greet the Chief Apostle and spend a few moments in his company.
