The Annual MIS Bishop Area co-ordinators conference took place on 29 July 2017.

Representatives from the Apostle areas within the New Apostolic Church Southern Africa gathered at the Dennekraal Conference Centre. The delegates from other provinces in the country, as well as from Namibia, arrived in Cape Town on Friday. After the check-in formalities and a light supper, the delegates spent their free time mingling and preparing for the conference the next day.On Saturday morning, all the co-ordinators reported at 08:00 for registration and some refreshments before the conference commenced at 08:30. The co-ordinators were thanked for their hard work, and special focus was placed on them for helping to utilize the MIS as a vital tool for the Soul Care of all members in the different areas. Key points for approaching the co-ordinating task was discussed by Bishop James with interactive participation by the group. After a brief lunch break the meeting continued with discussions around current issues associated with the system. After a quick introduction to the “new MIS system” and finalising the way forward, the meeting concluded at approximately 16:00. Many friendships were forged over the weekend activities. The delegates expressed their gratitude for a successful MIS conference.
