The members of Pelican Park, Knole Park, Lotus River East 2 and Lotus River East congregations of the Grassy Park Bishop Area welcomed District Apostle J Kriel into their midst on Sunday 12 November 2017 at Fairview Primary School Hall.
The noticeable excitement and joy amongst the members of this “first time” congregation and the rendition of beautiful musical items before and during the service complimented this special day.
The District Apostle served the congregation with a Bible word from the gospel of Matthew 22:11-12:” But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment. So he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless."
Apostle Lambert and Bishop Barron were also called to serve along.
Soon the festive hour was concluded and a visible, thankful and happy congregation exited God’s house with a clear message to wear their garments of salvation.
The members were also afforded the opportunity to greet District Apostle after the divine service and the majority embraced this wholeheartedly.
