The District Apostle decided to spend some time with the members of Soshanguve after an unfortunate incident occurred
on Tuesday evening, 30 January. The members who had gathered for the choir practice in preparation for confirmation were confronted by unidentified males. They were then robbed and one sister was physically abused. Upon leaving, the men then ransacked the cars and drove off in one of them. The District Apostle shared this information in a letter to all Priestly ministers around the area of Southern Africa. In this letter, the District Apostle also mentioned that he would visit the congregation of Soshanguve on Saturday 3 February.
During his visit on Saturday morning, the District Apostle took the opportunity to engage with the group and encouraged them after this traumatic event. After a prayer, the District Apostle spoke to various individuals, particularly those who were involved in the unfortunate event.
After a hearty fellowship, the District Apostle departed and left behind a happy and thankful congregation.
The District Apostle also appeals to members to take all due precautions necessary to ensure a safe environment for our brothers and sisters when they attend activities of whatever nature.
