On Tuesday 6 February 2018, all coordinators and those involved in the planning of YPC18218 were
invited to Tafelsig congregation for a divine service conducted by District Apostle J Kriel.
The Bible word which served as a platform for the divine service was taken out of Matthew 25, a portion of verse 40, "And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me."
During the divine service the District Apostle explained that doing the work of the Lord is a blessing, and we don't seek recognition for the good we do. Despite this he also acknowledged that those in attendance are making great sacrifices in order for YPC to be successful, and therefore he thanked everyone for their sacrifice and efforts.
In conclusion, an updated presentation on YPC18218 was shared to all present. This service and presentation was also the very first ‘ZOOM’ service conducted, with over 20 points of connection from all around the District Church area.
The concluding anthem "We shall keep our faith alive” left those in attendance upbeat and excited as we move ever closer to the highly-anticipated YPC weekend.
