During the weekend of 20 – 22 June, District Apostle J Kriel visited the area of Mpumalanga East.

On Friday evening a choral was held at Nyamazane congregation. The hard work put in by all the participants was blessed with a beautiful execution of the hymns on the programme. After the conclusion of the concert, the District Apostle addressed the members and encouraged them to join the choir and orchestra so that it could continue to grow.

On Saturday the District Apostle shifted his focus to the District Rectors and Main Rectors of the area. The District Apostle conducted a workshop in Matsulu congregation, and the main topic for the day was “Miracles in our time”. On that point, the District Apostle stressed the fact that Jesus performed miracles in order to prove the omnipotence of God. The District Apostle also stressed the importance of using the MIS as a tool in managing congregations.

On Sunday the District Apostle conducted a divine service in eSwatini (formerly known as Swaziland). The service was held in the congregation of Manzini.

The District Apostle used John 14:27 as a basis for the divine service, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”.

Apostle Page and Bishop Mabaso were also called to serve.

The members were also afforded the opportunity to greet District Apostle after the divine service and the majority embraced this wholeheartedly.
