Graskop is a small town located in the Mpumalanga province.
It was set up in the 1880s as a gold mining camp and now serves as a tourist destination and the timber industry. The name is Afrikaans for 'grassy hillock'.
On 19 July 2018, members of Graskop congregation waited in eager anticipation for the arrival of District Apostle J Kriel. The District Apostle was accompanied by Apostle L Meyer, Bishop J Milazi, Bishop V Ndubane and several other local ministers.
The Bible word which served as the basis for the divine service was taken out of Genesis 15:4, "And behold, the word of the Lord came to him, saying, 'This one shall not be your heir, but one who will come from your own body shall be your heir'."
Fellowship was held after the divine service where the congregation members enjoyed some hot soup.
