The Young People of the Durban North District brought some cheer to the congregation of KwaMsane,
near Richards Bay, on Saturday 9 June 2018, when they donated several bottles of water. The community of KwaMsane has faced severe water shortages due to drought conditions in that part of the KwaZulu-Natal Province. The Bishop L Naidoo accompanied the Young People on their do good project. Cleaning detergents and toiletries were also donated to the community.
After spending time with the congregation and community of KwaMsane, the 21 Young People from the Durban North District spent an afternoon of fellowship with the Young People of the Richards Bay Congregation. A braai was hosted at the Alkanstrandt Beach where the Young People from the two districts were able to get to know one another. After a blessed afternoon, the Young People of Durban North made the scenic 170 km journey home.
