The Vaal Triangle District enjoyed their very first Parent Meeting, which started on 20 May 2018 in Zamdela Congregation, and continued on the 27th of May throughout the rest of the District.

The purpose of the meeting was for parents to sit in on their children's Sunday School lessons, and also to get to know the teachers better. Issues such as attendance, the importance and value of Sunday School lessons were discussed. Thanksgiving tins were distributed, and parents were asked to encourage and teach their children the basics and importance of Offering.

The District is planning a year-end function in the form of a camp. Parental involvement is crucial in achieving the goal of the Sunday School in the District, to grow to new heights. The children were pretty chuffed with their parents’ attendance!
