On Saturday 4 August 2018, the co-ordinators of the Gauteng East Apostle District

gathered at Dinwiddie Congregation. All the congregational and district coordinators, together with District Rectors and Rectors attended the meeting to establish the progress of each focus group. Approximately 200 attended the meeting.

As the opening to the meeting, the Apostle JM Joubert used the Bible word from 1 Corinthians 3:9 - "For we are God's fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God's building".
The Apostle reiterated the purpose of the focus groups and the purpose to remain aligned with the Vision and Mission of the Church.

Each focus group coordinator who attended, provided the attendees with an overview of what was achieved and was to still be achieved for 2018 and beyond. The result was that much has been positively achieved in terms of the objectives set by each focus group, as the driving force behind each group was the love for God and the future of the Church. However, more labourers are required to fulfil these important tasks and the team is positively looking forward to the exciting developments for the future.
