On Wednesday evening 23 January 2019, the congregations of Brixton, Albertville and Westdene were

gathered in the Brixton Congregation with the Apostle JM Joubert for a divine service.

The Bible word was taken from the book of Romans 2:4 - “Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?”

The Apostle referred to the choir hymn “Come and redeem us” and posed the question: “Do you want to go to heaven? In order for one to go to heaven it requires commitment and we need to remind ourselves of why we are New Apostolic.  We are chosen and have a special responsibility.”

“We need to serve with Jesus Christ.”  The Apostle encouraged that we should challenge ourselves and ask, “What can I do for the Lord?” and “How can I do a little better than before?”  The final message of the Apostle was that we can grow our spiritual wealth by sharing it with others.

Six souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit.
