In conjunction with the St John's Church in Randburg, representatives from the West Rand District

visited Bethany House on Saturday, 14 April 2018. This facility was established in 1998 in response to the critical need of young people and children for shelter, access to primary health services and education.

Sister Alta Grobelaar who facilitated the project, was accompanied by Gavin Hinrichsen, the rector of the Krugersdorp Congregation, as well as the district rector Louis Brandt. With the help of the dedicated caregivers, they could personally hand over the gift packs to each child and young person. All the gift packs were generously donated by the members and included much needed items like clothing, toiletries but also lots of sweets - this was received with much delight. The tangible gratitude from each recipient was truly an overwhelming experience!
