Wednesday 15 September 2021 was a special day for the members of Highbury congregation as

Apostle P Lambert came to conduct the divine service.

Beautiful solo renditions and organ music created a festive atmosphere, while members waited in anticipation for the heavenly blessings. For the opening hymn, the baritone soloist rendered a hymn, “Dare to be a Daniel”, whereafter the Apostle remarked, that he is overjoyed to be in God’s house.

As a basis for the divine service, the Apostle used a Bible word out of Luke 6:47 & 48. During this divine service, 12 babies were sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Another special moment of the divine service was the retirement of the Evangelist Andrew Daniels and Priest Casper Le Keur. The Apostle thanked them for what they have done during their tenure and for responding to the call to help build the foundation of the church of Christ.

After the closing prayer, a soprano soloist crowned the divine service with a powerful rendition of “Ev’rything that hath breath”, thereby concluding a most blessed and unforgettable time in the house of God.
