Ministers and theological thinkers from across NACSA convene at the Dennekraal Conference Centre this weekend for the first instalment of the Homiletics train the trainer programme.
Homiletics is the art of contextual preaching. It is concerned with every aspect of the preaching task, from the preparation to the delivery thereof.
Through the power of technology, the group shared a few moments and a prayer with our District Apostle who was 1 050 kms away in East London, about to commence a soul-care visit with the Apostle Nene!
The objective of the weekend is to resource facilitators to roll out the Homiletics development programme across the District Apostle area. The programme includes a deep reflection on the connection between believers and the gospel. A full rollout of the programme is scheduled for 2019, for the benefit of our members, our neighbours and the church of Christ.
