On Sunday 2 February 2020, District Apostle J Kriel conducted a divine service for members of the Oshimbugu congregation.

However, a hall had to be rented to accommodate the combined congregation.

It was a special occasion for all as it was the confirmation service. 14 young people from the congregation were ready to pledge their lives to God.

The District Apostle was accompanied by Apostle P Liwakala and various ministers from the area.

The Bible word for this service was taken from the book of Hebrew 8:10, "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people."

Apostle Liwakala was called to assist in serving.

Before the celebration of Holy Communion, the confirmands were called to the altar to make the promise to God in front of the congregation. The District Apostle also took the opportunity to read a letter from the Chief Apostle and he reassured the newly-confirmed young people that God will always send someone to guide us on our path.

After the divine service, the congregants were spiritually uplifted and were not shy to show their upliftment by singing various traditional hymns.
