On Saturday 1 August 2020, the #Dare2Care project team met at Silvertown church (Cape Town) and Sandton church (Johannesburg) to prepare for the #Dare2Care live broadcast which takes place over the weekend of 7-9 August 2020.

The groups used the time to prepare the Apostles, presenters, guest speakers and NACTV crew for the range of activities and coffee table discussions set for next Saturday. The fun-filled weekend kicks off with a virtual concert on Friday at 8 pm. This will be followed by various physical activities on Saturday morning and will include a fun walk. The fun walk will be in support of the campaign against gender-based violence.

On Saturday afternoon, the Apostles, along with guest speakers, will engage in coffee table discussions about relevant topics such as gender-based violence and the newly-introduced sexual misconduct policy in the church. The weekend will conclude with a divine service for young people which will be conducted by District Apostle J Kriel.

All who are interested in joining must register by clicking here. There is no registration fee, but participants are encouraged to make donations. All proceeds will go to the Masakhe Foundation.
