On Sunday 1 November 2020, District Apostle J Kriel conducted the divine service for the departed at Wentworth congregation, Durban.

It was the first time the District Apostle could visit the city this year because travel restrictions were lifted under the current lockdown level 1 regulations which allow cross-provincial border travel. He was accompanied by Apostle S Mogane and a few local ministers from the area.

The Bible word for the divine service was taken out of Romans 14:9.

Before the conclusion of the divine service, the District Apostle served Holy Communion to the souls in yonder world. The dispensation of the sacraments of Holy Baptism and Holy Sealing could not be administered because any act of blessing requiring personal contact may not be performed during divine services as per the measures given in the current Government Gazette regarding places of worship.
